'08 xB, Pioneer Premium, Sirius Directed TOY-SC1 & SCVDOC1 Compatability
Greetings,
Does anyone know if there is a compatibility issue with the Directed TOY-SC1 translator unit and the Pioneer Premium head unit? I've got a unit that works with my original basic head unit, but I had upgraded to the premium one and it will not power my Sirius head unit. I did purchase my Pioneer unit on eBay, and am wondering if the TOY-SC1 just isn't compatible or if my head unit may be damaged.
I've pretty intent on using this TOY-SC1/SCVDOC1 combo as I really like the ability to remove the head unit and use it on my boombox or in my truck where I've got one of the window suction units. This way I still only have to pay for one subscription. Not to mention the cost of a Sportster 5, TOY-SC1, and SCVDOC1 can be had for far less than the Toyota Sirius unit.
Thanks for any help you can provide.
