hey Flyinglow... those are the exact same lights & got from Oznium too, but I got them in white. I am going to stick those up UNDER my mirrors pointing straight down & wire them to the dome light circuit. So when I hit the remote unlock at night & the doors unlock & the dome lights go on, these lights will shine down from under the mirrors & light up the ground where you step.. BUT I cant do that till the weather warms up.. It's been below 30 degrees here for 2 months now & I aint gonna mess with frozen plastic parts till I get 60 degreees.. You got a heated garage I could rent for 4 hours?? hahha hahahh ahha.... jh
Thats such a sick idea... dammm jh never cease 2 amaze me... You actually do this yet? Any pics?

I was looking at oznium and the circular one I was thinking that it would look cool in the right dash side... where there is like a little cubby hole... Hmm Any ideas?

P.S Are these the ones your talking about?

Yes that link to oznium are the ones we got. I havent put themin yet as it's been to cccccccccoooold here to pull the door panels off. I dont want to mess with stressing out frozen plastic clips as I am afaraid that they will break in some way, so I am waiting for at least 60 degrees to pull off the door panels & run my wires.....
So you want to put one of those in the dash?? on the right side..-passanger-..??? a cubby hole there?? hhhhhmmmmm I dont see one there, but i do see one on the left side. -drivers-. I think if you put one there shining 'up' it may be too bright aat night if you run it at night, but. you may want to stick it on ther & test it out....
I always hook up to a 9 volt battery first & then go for placement...... when I am happy with the look, & brightness, & direction & spread of the light, then I final install with a 12 vlt hook up..... so you may want to test first before drilling any holes or glueing.......... in my opion . yours may vary though........... good luck with your projects & remember to post pistures of your stuff. before during & after.......jh

you dont have the socket in there all the way....... push the socket in there alone till you sink it in the screw & it catches.... then slip your extension on & then the ratchet...... make your ratchet go the correct direction BEFORE you put it on the extension... jh....... ps disconnect the negative BATTERY CABLE..from the battery first.......

OH. You know what?? I am so sorry........... as outlined in the DIY, you may have skipped over the sentence.... check this out.. ""The Screw wont come out!!! It has a 'keeper' on it so it wont fall out.. it just comes loose & stays in there""..... Just loosen up both sides.. You'll feel the screw become jiggily..... then carefully lift the airbag/ horn assembly towards you, then set it up on the steeering wheel column just below the top of the steering wheel. leave all the wires hooked up to the air bag...... remember. the screws WONT come out!!!!!........ good luck dude....... shoulda called me..... jh

Hey Jimmbomb,
Let me get some more 1206's and I can do it for you no problem.
I had to work with the one in the door switch a bit to get the color even, but it turned out brighter than stock. I will take a pic today.

Hey Frozone!

Just pull the lower trim panel off of the driver's side of the dash. Once you do that, you can just reach under and unclip the Traction control switch from the panel. Once it is out, flip it over and you will see that the PCB is just held in place with a couple of clips. Just pop it out gently and you will see the LED.
If you do this with the car on, your traction control indicator will come on and stay on even after you reinstall the switch. It can take up to a full day for it to turn back off. I had no problems during that time.

Good luck on the swap!

Good morning Jimmbomb,
No, but I have been thinking about it. I have left all of the warning indicators in their factory colors so that the still stand out. If you want me to do yours too, I will pop the piece out to see which LED's it takes.

Nawwwwwwwwww you know i kind of like the orange contrast to my all blue other stuff..... & seeing as how I back lit my window switche finger wells in blue, then the orange contrast of the 'auto' button looks good contrasting off the blue glow surrounding.. So I will leave sleeping dogs lie & leave it as is.. I am happy with what little orange I have left as it contrasts well with the blue.... thanks for the offer anyways, son.. I sure appreciate your effort & well wishes to help me out! You got a favor comming, my friend....... jyh
