you know that ringing you hear when the lights are on or the doors are open and the keys are in it? or when the keys are out and the door is open or the headlights are on? i need to get rid of that ring but how? i have toyotafest this sunday and i would really like this thing gone so i can show off my custom one-off headlights and stuff. please help anyone? thanks alot.

isnt there the button looking thing in the door jam? just tape it down

 

Or better yet pop out that switch and wire nut or crimp the wires togather so it always thinks its closed.
