There was a couple in NorCal that were getting pretty close to 150...

I've metered a 143.9 on a BAD day. I have buddy that's in the low 150's and he was only hitting 148 and change on that day.

I can bassrace a 139.9 all day long. :D I <3 bassrace.

Who knows what I am hitting... 4-12's and 2-8's... all are RE audio. All of them are powered by 3 US Amps MD1Ds. For Mids and His I have Hertz HSK 165s powered by an Alpine MRP-F550. The head unit I have is an Alpine IVA-W505. All I know is that it is loud and sounds good.

I hit 168.3 with 2 MTX terminator 12's and terminator amp pretty cheap setup but took first place. Suprised the h*ll out of me. Wasn't even planning on entering but my crew talked me into it.

Measured from front windshield over the dash as close as they could get to the windshield anyway with the big dash the 2nd gens have. Yeah I was suprised too next highest to me was a 146.6 in a rx7 with a high dollar system.

True. I know MTX makes a good sub wasn't sure about their amps but when I bought it I just wanted some good base and complete the sound. They bumped pretty good but never thought they would be competative in a competion let alone hit those kind of numbers. I'm really happy with them.

no offense, but i sincerely doubt you hit a 168.3. you could have 5x that equipment and still not hit that.

I've been in his car. it's F'in LOUD!!! I might be bias but I agree with those #s..

I know this isn't an xB but,
I hit 160 in a 1966 Dodge d200 single cab 2wd truck. running a Pioneer Premier HU, Pioneer 700w 2ch amp, and 2 Obcon 12" under the seat.

anyone who can hit 168 would be pretty famous. there's only a handful of cars that can hit anywhere near that and most of those are straight up competition cars.

Sorry my bad it was 163.8 I went and looked at what I wrote down when he told me. Hey I'm not up on whats what on the numbers and I could not read the readout board when they did it . All I know is when the guys got out he said DAM that can cause some serious hearing loss or something to that effect. I asked him what I hit and he told me 163.8. I won the trophy. Until now I guess I didn't really know just how high that number was. If you want to raise the flag that's cool makes no diff. to me. I just love the sound and hardly ever crank it way up because it wasn't my intent to compete and it feels like it is going to rip the seams apart on the roof and rear window looks like it is going to pop out. Here you go I'll even supply the flag.

This topic is getting kinda funny. Since I work for a audio manufacture and am seeing some of these numbers makes me laugh.

The 168. Nope didnt happen with that set up. I would have to see it in person and willing to put any amount of money on it. Unless it is a full modded, built interior for SPL it is not going to happen.

The 147 is very possible. Actually a pretty good number and breaking 2 windshields. I dont go for that. I had a mazda that I did 14 10's in it and did a 152 with it. Windshield and cab would actually seperate and never break. The 147 is a damn good number though. I give you props on that.
