Very nice work. I too am very interested in this armrest.
I would buy one.
But I would also be interested in a diy. I can do the upholstery part, but I'm not clear on the fiberglass shell part of it.
I don't even care about the hole that's left in the seat after removing the oem armrest. I'm sure I can figure out how to cover it up somehow.

THe arm rest is one of the things I miss about my silverado. The gas milage leaves it in the driveway. THe one on the door is a few inches low and the other could use your new and improved version. It would be great if you could figue out a way to make a pocket in the middle since storage is an issue. Im interested either way.
