0 Gauge? Can I ask why? I hope you upgraded your battery and your alternator with that size wiring for those amps...... Pretty good looking overall though; Good choice with Alpine too!!

Def glad i went with Alpine also , Sounds Amazing.

They ran two 4ga into the raptor dual fuse case and Zero out the other side to the battery. Just what the dual 200amp Fuse case required. Will be upgradeing the battery after the new year.

def a simple looking system but sounds amazing, i did not want nothing to crazy.

You said you did not want anything crazy....? I have one 10" Type R (tuned with a near perfect box for it) and it is loud... oh and I also install car audio for a living..... Type X is pretty crazy, but considering what you could have done I understand what you mean

Ya, the type X is pretty crazy loud. Especially for only one 12". I wish I could hear your system, Drew. It looks awesome. And all that power to your mids, Im sure yours sounds as clear as mine - or beter with your rear components.

Bego, I used 0 gauge too, all the way from the battery to the distributor block right next to the amps. I havent yet bought my yellow top ( might get it for xmas), and I dont plan to upgrade the alternator. I do plan to upgrade the alternator wire to the batter soon. Why whats wrong with 0 gauge, I just think it looks better than 2 4 gauges in my engine bay.

Yea i did not wanna go crazy like my old car's with tons of wires and woofers takeing up space and adding alot more weight. xB system is simple and sound s great.

If i want crazy ill drive my mom's explorer

2-JL Audio W7's 12's
2-JL Audio 1000/1's

Sounds Amazing

To some people, a sealed 8 on 300W might be loud, it all depends on their tastes.
Of course to me, loud is flexing the xB's roof without mercy...
No need to get nuts.

and frank in regards to your signature (i know this is off topic) i have heard this quote before and have to disagree its a lot easier to learn how to shoot a gun than to play a couple chords on the guitar having done both myself lol

Well to me a 12" type X is loud.. Louder than 2 jl 10w3v3's with the same 1000w amp.

To my understanding, the Type X is an excellent SQ driver. I"d personally rather have one of these than a W7, but I"m not a JL fan...
But as buickid mentioned, loud is all subjective. I think 3000watts will be enough for me. For a while. :D

Now I want to hear a TypeX... They have some different technology in them as far as loudspeakers go.
