pics or it didnt happen

what did you use on em?
I basically used SEM products and followed their tech instructions without trying to take any shortcuts. I was able to source the SEM products from a local auto body supplier. The results came out great. I'll take pics tomorrow if I can...

(1) SEM 38464 WORLD CLASS™ VINYL/PLASTIC PREP - used with scuff pad to clean/prepare the panels
(1) SEM 3986 PLASTIC ADHESION PROMOTER
(3) SEM Color Coat - I chose their Satin Black because I read somewhere that it was actually their flat black color.
(1) SEM Low Luster Clear - Even though it already looked good, I topped the panels with 2 coats of low luster clear.

Okay, here's proof it happened... I also took pictures of the C pillars, but they didn't come out too well at all... I would say these pics are a good actual representation of what the pillars look like...

Looks good man!

I just spent all weekend suede-ing my buddy's tC healdiner and pillars. Huge PITA but the results are worth it.

Even though I used SEM satin black, the panels turned out very flat black and OEM looking which was the look I was going for. After having the dyed pillars installed, you can tell they are flat black but the stock interior is really a charcoal looking color. That being said, I would still choose the same color I used, because everything blends in so well and still looks like stock.

Since I have the C pillar storage nets, I am thinking about having those wrapped in CF by patterntek or using some flexible carbon fiber vinyl I just purchased from decalfx.com for little bit of contrast. I am also going to wrap my door pulls in the CF vinyl and see how that looks. If it turns out lame, then I'll fork over the dough and have patterntek do it for me.

But back to your question, I think this picture is a good depiction of what it looks like compared to the existing color of the dash...

Patterntek doesn't wrap anything. It is a totally different process and not really cf or even the fake stuff. It's just the pattern.
