Default Passenger side a/c vent help

Has any on taken one of these out?? it seems to be in there really good, unlike the others that pull right out with the dash panels, tonight i painted the first three a metallic blue color and i plan on doing the other one tomorrow i just cant get the thing to budge! i dont know what to do i cant have one silver and three awesome looking blue ones lol ugh someone help befor i fail!

You are going to have to remove the glove box to access a screw that holds down that portion of the dash. Also, disconnect your negative terminal on the battery, you are going to have to disconnect your passenger air bag.

This has been answered several times. Search is your friend.

i did it without removing the glove box, but its a pain in the A!! pull up the dash and try and reach in with a small screw driver to get the vent out. took me forever to get it back in though

I dropped the glove box down, removed the small peice of dash trim under the head unit the just popped up that corner of the dash and held it up while i unscrewed it with a chubby lil screw driver, puttin it back in was more of a pain but im happy with the end result!
