Default Sirius satellite radio for Alpine premium h/u

Okay, I've seen the diagram that shows the back of the unit having a satellite radio connection, but my question is what pieces do I need to make it work with the head unit? No one can seem to answer this question at any local dealer I've called, nor at TSS Radio or Sirius.

My choices:

1) get a portable unit (ie Sportster, Stiletto 2) and have the ability to move the unit from the car to the house

2) get a permanently mounted solution that will allow the Alpine head unit to control the Sirius satellite radio

Can someone please point me in the right direction? I have a lifetime subscription that I can only transfer 3 times before it becomes invalid. I want a somewhat permanent solution, perhaps the Sirius SCC1 adapter, so I can just get a new adapter to plug that into instead of having to get a new tuner if/when I get a new car.
