Aside from the brand arguments, which really when it breaks down are essentially the same thing. This is the best way to get more out of your system. If you can lower your noise floor by half you have essentially done the same as adding an amp that is double your current output level.

Plus we have one of the NOISEST cars I have ever driven on the freeway so damping your car as much as possible will not hurt.

I hate the fact that I have to do it all over again, but also like it so I can put in better areas after going through the process once. One area I noticed needed it is the floor, especially the front half.

Pyro, I understand where you are coming from. Just sounded like you were only going to use one product and some of your statements, like the one about a big rig driving by, was why I mentioned the windows. But anyway, good to know you have done your research. I was just looking at clarifications cause it sounded good but at the same time it seemed like you were missing some key issues, just was adding my 5 cents worth with my experiences of doing some sound deadening too and having to redo my interior sound deadening soon.
Exactly how much did you buy? Website says 1 pack of the mat and 3 yards of the foam. Was that enough?

I think I got 1 box and four or five yards, I have a about a yard and a half left of the ensolite. But the maat covered all my roof, all five doors and part of the rear quarter panels. If you follow Rick's advice it will go far and did a heck of a job making the ride much quieter.

Did you not do the floor? Got my raamat today and took a good 3hrs to do the driver's door. I thought this was rather long time to do one door but I did it right. How long did it take you?

I've completed all 4 doors and hatch door. It has deadened such noise as vehicles passing you. However by doing the 4 doors now has seemed to amplify the road noise. Especially from under the dash. The engine sounds more audible than before. I am getting a more solid thunk when closing the doors and the door handles have a more solid feel when you lift and release them. The floor is next when the monies allow it.
