The low beam lights on the 08 XB are kind of dim, while the high beams are great. Aside from putting in HID, is there a replacement bulb for the low beams that will give me a whiter, brighter feild of vision for night driving? Any input is greatly appreciated, thank you.

 

I debated going HID for a long time, and did a lot of researching for alternatives.

I ended up purchasing OSRAM Night Breaker H11 replacement bulbs and I am very happy with the results.

 

Hi Curtisc, where did you get these upgrades from, who makes them and was there a big difference from the original bulb?

Have you tried raising the level your lights shine at? I did that when I first got the car and have no regrets.

 

If you google it, you will see a few places. I got mine off of eBay. Yes, a very noticeable difference.

 

Go DDM 55W H11 6k's I got them and there very bright. They dont even compare to the 35W's of most other brands. The ballast is small and life warrenty.
