08 Scion XB question about Navigation upgrade?
I just bought a Navigation systen to replace the factory sterio with, It is factory system I am putting in. Do I have to buy anything else to make it work like a head unit kit or will mine work? Thanks

Did you buy the Scion navi unit or an aftermarket one? Ive got the Pioneer D3 nav unit in the factory location and everything works fine. The factory unit should be completely plug and play, but you just need to make sure that there is a GPS antenna already in your car, otherwise just plug it in the harness.
If you can still return the unit you bought, that is if you havent opened it yet, I would recommend you return it and get an aftermarket unit. The factory unit is like $2k, for that you can get an aftermarket unit and almost a whole system.

I have a new factory sion system I bought on ebay, I just bought it today and wanted to know if I needed anything before it got here. I know there high dollar...I got it under half for what scion wants. I been reading where I can switch it to work without being stopping to look at something. I really love the look of it...Thanks for reply
