Air Mattress & Sleeping

I would strongly suggest NOT lying down across the back of the rear seats. The support is pretty much non-existent. You'll more than likely bend the backs of the seats.
That being said, there is a little less than 6 feet of space between teh back of the front seats and the rear hatch, with the rear seats folded down.

Pull off the front passenger headrest, flip that seat all of the way back, lay the rear seats forward and sleep with your head toward the back. I've done it a few times and it's not bad at all.
I'm 5'9" and over 200lbs, and had plenty of room. Then again, I can lay on piles of rocks and be snoring in five minutes.

We had them down at a drive in and were lying on them. Uncomfortably as all get (next time = more blankets). But that's a good idea of head towards the back to distribute weight off the seats - I'm a big fan of lying on my stomach to watch TV anyhow.

I slept in the car on my first night and it was fine except for the April chill. I'm 5'10" and a bit supersized but didn't bend or break anything. I actually slept in both the back and the front.
For the first half of the night, I laid at an angle with my feet toward the passenger tail and head in back of the driver seat. Slept fine at a rest stop off the interstate for three solid hours before a blaring semi horn woke me up. Couldn't get back to sleep, so I drove on for an hour or so more until Mr. Sandman hit me again. Found another rest stop and just slid the drivers seat back and then reclined it a whole bunch. Slept for about two solid hours until the cold woke me up, and by then dawn was breaking anyway so I just fired it up and brought it on home.
