Default Airbag rated seatcovers

I got my Box partly because of it's excellent safety ratings. Part of that was because of all the airbags, even in the seat. But I'm having a hard time finding reasonably priced seat covers (under $150/pr) that work with the airbags. I do maintenance so I'm often coated in sawdust and other airborne wonders. What do you guys (and ladies) have?

I dont have any aftermarket seat covers on my tC..and it has the side impact airbags... If you can't find any that come made for the side srs's for your B... you could look into buying the set you want and modifying them yourself. Most that allow the side srs's to still function properly do it one of two ways.
1. some sort of velcro type seam (I wouldn't recommend)
2. done right... it's like the stock ones... down the seam they come out of, they use a special type of thread that allows it to break easily along that specific seam for deployment.
You could find what type of thread is used and modify a set of covers you buy.
Just an idea for what it's worth. Hope it helps.

I bought a set of these early 2008 and like them. They look decent, fit well, don't interfere with bag deployment, and are reasonably priced. However, they're not at all fancy.

Both Coverking and Wet Okole will work with seat deployed air bags. I have some of the coverking neoprene covers and they fit quite well.

Good suggestions guys, thanks. I didn't think Wet Okole was that low. My friend had front and rear Wet Okole's in her CRV and she spent about $600 for the lot. And she went directly to the store on Ala Moana Blvd, too!

Trivia question (and I know the answer): what does "okole" mean?

I'm quite sure the Clazzio seatcovers are side airbag friendly.

I know the Clazzio seat covers are more expensive then you'd like, but they really are great and are totally side airbag friendly! I have a friend who has had his leather covers for 2 years now and they are crack & wrinkle free!!

Given that you stated you want seat covers due to the fact that you routinely get dirty, I would steer away from the Clazzios. Go for the wet okole or the coverkings.

At least you can order them with "leather seat inserts" for an extra cost.

Clazzio seat covers are compatible with seat airbags. That was one of my first questions before buying them. But their going to cost you way more then 150.
