Default Allocation Pushed back till april 30th.

when we had our compliance review on the 16th i was told the 1st allocation for the new B won't be on the 16th but the 30th. we were expecting to recieve our first shipment the first couple of days of may. now it seems more like the middle to 3rd week judging by the e-mail sent out on tuesday.

SCION DEALERS,

I'm sorry to say that we will NOT be sending out the first xB on this allocation as originally announced. Distribution has just informed us that we don't have enough units built up to send them out yet. We'll have to wait for the next allocation, however, this is still subject to change per distribution. I'll let you know more as soon as I know.

My mom was told by her sales person (right off the phone w/ the regional manager) that her xB is expected on the 24th and at the stealership 2 weeks later.

Guess we'll see - your in Cali and all...

Uhm, yeah, They won't be in dealerships in FL in 2 weeks. There are 52 on the boat, and allocation was today. It might be too early, but I did quick search this morning, and there are none in allocation anywhere in SET. I'll check again after 10, sometimes the mainframe isn't as live as I'd like.

SET has a habit of waiting until there is one for every dealership before releasing them.

BTW, is your dealership Scion of Orlando?

My sales guy told me I'll be driving one b4 April is over.

The MRS. & I have a road trip planned from Seattle to the Redwoods of California on May 10. By the looks of this forum, we'll b in the new b.

Seattle is mighty close to Japan. transit time if they still use Mitsui OSK is less than 10 days. Seeing as they are trucked from the port it should be really close to May day.

I know oldyeller will keep his ears on for those truckers.

Finally, this forum is getting exiting. All we need are the MPG info to heat it up

Just got a call from my sales guy.

First he tried to tell me the prices...yeah, sorry dude, those were leaked 2 weeks ago.

Then he tried to give me the list of standard features/prelim specs...yeah, same thing, leaked 8 weeks ago.

He was bummed. But, he did have one nugget of useful info, the first one in this region will be a Blackberry Crush Metallic Automatic, scheduled for delivery on the 20th of May. I will be test driving that car on the 21st (20th=Sunday, I will prolly still show up to see if I can get a good look at the exterior) come hell or high water unless it sells before I get there...which is a distinct possibility. We'll see!

if he sells the first and only one they get then they're not very smart in doing so. he should make that the demo until he gets more.

Yup yup. The next one won't be arriving for several weeks later. I'm decking mine out with about 4 - 5k in accy's to ensure that it will hang around for awhile. The GM might sell my lone model on my day off.

I saw a blackberry crush at the back stage event and it looked nice. I was kind of drawn to the teal---but then I like weird colors..........

first person I heard of actually seeing a teal. Is it as dark as the color code in the new book I am supposed to be in the first wave hitting our dealer in early May

I didn't like the teal or blackberry at backstage at all.. But I did like the black more than expected. If I buy the xb, I might change my order from white to black...

I would rather they colormatch my poo and paint the car that color than get one in teal. It would be a Scion UPSxB!

Bring it in? I guess you could call it that...i was gonna stop at Qdoba on the way and "produce" the sample on-site.

This is getting gross...lets revise this to, "I don't particularly care for the Teal color."

Heck no and the car is for my mom and she's in Minneapolis.

The information on the cars ETA came from her sales lady (top 150 dealers in the country) that got it from her regional manager, I'm hoping she gets the VIN asap so she can finish the loan.

Don't forget, we all want to see pics of the very first privately owned xB2 seen by a ScionLife member...

Even if it's only fuzzy cameraphone shots.

That would be a really good pic, too, Yeller. It would be proof that they are going out.
