Default Anyone looking for a custom Carbon Fiber guy? I found one!

Here's a TEASER pic of his work...

I found a guy that does great work for the RIGHT price! Here's a diffuser he is currently working on for me for my Mini Cooper 08. His also going to do a partial overlay for my 5 Axis rear lip diffuser next!

If any of you guys are looking for a very competent carbon fiber guy with a very competitive price, let me know. Darren

From this...

To this... This piece isn't 100% complete yet because he still has to paint the edges black and hit it up with a final wetsand and polish. After this project, he's going to do my 5 Axis rear diffuser, and possibly, the front middle portion of the front lip. I still haven't figured out if I'm going to go with the normal 2x2 twill CF for the XB, or some red Carbon/Kevlar!

It's no secret at all. He is just going to partially overlay my 5 Axis rear diffuser where it's supposed to be painted black. I'm still thinking about if I want him to completely overlay the 5 Axis front lip completely in carbon fiber or just the middle portion and color match the rest. I dunno, what do you guys think?

If you guys want to use him, you're more than welcome. All I ask you to do is let Jim know that Darren (me) referred you guys to him. He is honest, dependable, and competent with VERY fair prices. I can't stress enough the fair prices he charges and the excellent work he does!

If you're interested, here's some stuff he could probably overlay that will look hot IMO:
*side mirrors
*A and B Pillars
*C Pillar Storage upgrade option
*Most small parts in the dash
*Overhead Console - Perhaps cf the doors and dye the rest black

Just send him an email for a quote at roguemotorsports@gmail.com. Tell Jim that Darren referred you and let him know what you want done with pictures and then he'll estimate a quote that will include shipping back to you. Very simple. I just wanted to share this with the Scion community because I've hard a very hard time sourcing a competent carbon fiber guy when I used to be a part of my old BMW forums. Good luck!

UPDATE for any of those interested!

If anyone else is interested in overlaying any of your parts in carbon fiber, Jim should be able to do yours for a very fair price. Again, just email Jim at roguemotorsports@gmail.com and ask him for a quote (please tell him Darren referred you because I am trying to get on his good side ). Anyways, I am a very happy customer. The diffuser looks very well done, was well packaged, and the turn around time was almost exactly a week.

Rear painted black and all tabs still intact...

Beautiful....

I chose 2x2 carbon fiber twill...

Installed...

Since my other car's kit needs to be painted, I'm probably going to have the ship add 2 layers of clear coat to really make this thing pop! Man, I couldn't be more happier!
