Anyone tow anything with their xB's?
#22
I'll be towing the camper out to a state park on Maryland's eastern shore on Friday. We'll be camping there for two nights. I don't think I'll have time this week to get the new suspension on the car before the trip, though.
On my trip to Gettysburg last week, I noticed that the rear tires (of the car, not the trailer) were getting quite hot. I use a non-contact thermometer to check them when I pull off the highway. I'll probably add a bit of air and see if that cools them down this time. The tongue weight of the trailer is only about 130 pounds, but that's out at the ball-mount, which puts quite a bit of leverage on the rear suspension. Of course, it was over 90 degrees that day, too. However, the rear tires were a bit hotter than the fronts. I'll report back... I know you guys are on the edges of your seats waiting.
