Beware of shops...
if anyone goes to a place and they ask for your address, beware. A few of my sisters friends and one of my friends went to a "reputable" place to have tints done and to have stereo systems (and one got an alarm) put in and they asked for their address. Within a month their cars were broken into and their stuff was stolen. Even in the one case the alarm was still set on the car, but the radio, speakers and whatnot were gone. i mean there is no proof that it was people from that place, but its an ongoing "rumor" that it was. it's just too weird of a coincidence.
what i am trying to get at is there should be no reason that a place would need your address. so if they ask you, ask them why they need it.
if you are in my area and would want to avoid this place, PM me and i will let you know. honestly i dont think many people go there anymore, but i just wanted to give a heads up in general.

Address
Usually they don't have to ask - just go to the glove box and look at your registration.
And you may want to remove your house key from your key ring why your at it.
When they ask for your address - give them your local precinct address. . .

NO shop - tint/stereo/performance otherwise should ask for your address period. Just like somebody said - walk away! We never ask for address unless we're personally delivering the vehicle once it's done.
