Funny, I just looked at what posts you have here. You don't seem to bee an a55hole and you actually do contribute. What gives? Seriously... Maybe you're having a bad day or something.

I am just trying to motivate you guys... lol. I guess I was also trying to be funny, but I failed miserably at that too.... Maybe I need to give an "L" to myself.

Here you go "self"

Oh man. Maybe I'm in too serious of a mindstate at the moment. Work can do that to me... Humor and sarcasm is hard to convey over the internet, isn't it? I'm glad I didn't go attacking you. I learned long ago to think two steps ahead.

There will be a backup light solution. One of these days...

Cheers!

I'm not worried about the days, it's the nights that bother me about the dammmmmmmn light. (Did I do OK with the humor and sarcasm?) I'm hoping the PIAA bulb arrives tomorrow; expecting it to be better than stock 21watt bulb, but not sure how much... I regularly back up 100' at a shot down narrow twisty dark driveways, so nobody wants a good solution more than me. If this bulb is not the solution, I will be doing more R&D for all of us!

LED's are bright when you look AT them, but don't throw off much light over a distance, which is what we're all trying to improve on. Several of us have spent $ trying various LED bulbs, with poor results. You can try them if you like, but you might wait a day or two to see what I think of the PIAA bulb when it gets here.

It's UPS, but I'm sure the holiday slowed it down a day or two also.

Alright, you guys are doing a fine job. I was planning to call forth a meeting to put our heads together, but it looks like CIONIDE is on top of this.

CIONIDE, looks like these guys are dropping the ball, so thanks for picking up the slack. I'm going to give you the project lead on this, so don't let me down...

The HID idea may work, but may not be cost effective. Let's wait till next fiscal year to see if we will have enough funds to further pursue this project.

Now, if only I can stop surfing the forums while I'm at work!

I try to stay away. I really do. But every time somebody replies to a thread I'm watching, my phone lets me know. It's like getting a text message - you just have to check it! I know I could unsubscribe, but I like it this way for now.

Nsaw and RocktheBeef,

Send me a text message of both your employers immediately. I won't feel right until I inform both your bosses of this delinquent behavior and Internet abuse. I better start seeing better results from the both of you or else I'm going to mention this to my friend Donald (Trump) over golf...

D Unit.... are you a manager or are you just dieing to be?

I know that I have only been watching this silently but I feel guilty......
My managers name is TIM and you can reach him at 401-555-3333. I only say this because I have pics of him from last years xmas party that I am pretty sure he doesn't want to get out....

I am on SL for at least an hour a 2 a day.

Just think how many more mods you could afford if you spent that time being productive. (Like I am right now.)

Finally, the PIAA bulbs have arrived! I will try it out when I get home tonight, and then report.

My posts are just a means of entertaining myself when I'm at work... that's all. I really do appreciate these guys doing all the R&D for us and just providing them with bumps to the top...

I'm a bit new so I'm learning:

What does "bumps to the top" mean?

And does this have something to do with when a person just writes "BUMP" and what does that mean?

And how about "FM"?

Sorry I had to get a few questions out!

This has been a very helpful thread and i also appreciate what these ppl have done. Saved me from buying leds with 5,000 bulbs that would only put out 5 watts .... lol.

Thank you!!

FM was CIONIDE's nickname in college... it stands for Female Magnet.

"Bump" just means that every time you reply to a thread, it gets "bumped" to the top of the most recent thread page.
