Nice Silver 'boxes.

Nuthin fancy... TRD shocks/springs, 17" wheels (a repro of a lexus wheel I think), fogs, drop in HID low beams, clearbra on front, and removed black tape trim on A-pillar.

Just realized I never posted in here.

I was driving down the road today and felt like I needed to shoot a picture of my CSM.

Anyway, I have a 2008 Scion xB CSM. Color theme is black, silver, yellow, and chrome:

Wheels 18x7.5 Volante Torino, painted calipers, magnet bra, Bat's Bumper Overlay in matte black, seamless vent visors, FIG grille set, OEM fog lights with yellow overlay, HIDs in low beams and fogs.

My 09 xb. Trying to keep it nice and tasteful. Some superlight wheels as soon as weather allows painting. Also, rear has dropped about 1" since this picture :D

Default My classic silver xB2

I put my box to work! I like this photo because the trailer looks bigger than the car!

Putting my feet up while camping for the first time in years.

My new rims. I got them when the car had 1,400 miles on it.

Towing a much smaller trailer this time.

My only mods are the factory fog-lights, Aftermarket rims, tow hitch, custom made arm rest and Sirius Satellite radio.

Looks like all you need now is a mild drop.

Can we see pics of your custom made arm rest?

I love your pictures! Camping is awesome and I've wanted to do this for so long now in my xB. Just sit in the hatch and drink beer and eat flame-kissed marshmallows. Mmmmm....

Just as a warning, in your service manual it says our transmissions aren't designed to handle towing anything large like that U-Haul (I think our cars only handle 800 lbs load? Something like that). Some people on here have towed off-and-on, but as long as you don't regularly tow it you should be okay.

Yea the xB struggles in the towing department. I figure the engine is good for up to 2,000 pounds as it's the same as the Camry... but the tranny is unique for sure. Thankfully I only tow about once every 3 months. Mostly highway too. FYI: Payload is completely different than tow ratings. That said, the xB isn't made for it. - Although, I do wonder why Toyota pre-drills the hitch holes for manufactures to make bolt-on hitches...

To attach hitch-mounted bicycle racks.

Thanks for the link to your custom arm rest; it looks quite effective.
