Dash Pads????
#61
Ordered all the pads with the exception of those that go into the cargo area. The pads are great, the center pad below the instruments is a must for only $3, it holds my cell phone, digital camera, etc without sliding, along with the pad above the glove box also a must to keep items from sliding, the small driver door pad holds loose change without rattling and all the cup holder pads are nice, but make sure you use the double sided tape or the bottles, etc will pull them up if wet. I haven't figured out what to store under the back seats, any ideas what could go there.
Shipping was incredibly fast, well packaged and all labeled where it went, great service, now if he would add a center arm rest I would be all set in the interior

Wilson's pads are GREAT PRODUCT. I installed my 17 piece set this Saturday morning. I have only two suggestions:
1)_Paper labels leave adhesive residue, so I recommend that Wilson apply them to backside of those shapes that install in only one orientation.
2)_Supplied installation tape's adhesive sticks better to paper backing than to the neoprene. Fortunately, I was able to "borrow" a roll of a 3M product from the art department where I work, and it's backing peels away nicely.
When I showed this product to my co-worker, she immediately saw it's genius, and is ready to install in her household's Fit and Ridgeline.
Thank You Wilson!

I echo everyone else's comments. Fast shipping, communication... A++ ebayer.. haha.. would do business with again.
A question for those who have 'em. I think it's totally in my head, but do they get less "sticky" over time? Would the sun have effect on this whatsoever? The only one that feels less sticky is the one in front of the gauges... which is out in the sun a lot. Shrug. I'll update once I inspect them more thoroughly.

Wilson Pads
Bought all the pads from Wilson Pads on eBay. They arrived quickly and fit perfectly. Today for the first time, my sunglasses did not slide on the dash. Also, it looks like it will help my portable GPS to stay in place on the road. Sicon should have put thes in the car from the factory. Perhaps, Wison Wong should contact Scion and make these pada a dealer option.

I bought the whole set except for the ones for the hidden cargo area. Wilson did a really nice job of labeling everything and providing double-sided tape to make sure that the pads stay put. I'm really happy with his pads and would recommend them to anyone who purchases a 2008 XB.

Love the Toaster... This second-gen is a great vehicle, and I don't feel bad at all having traded my thirsty 300C in on it.
But, more to the point, I wanted to share my experience with these Dash Pads in the new Box. I didn't get the "Mega-Ultra-DVD-Boxed-Set" 27-piece version, just the 17-piece set. It covers all the critical areas where I might toss some stuff, and they work great. Wilson even went so far as to include double-sided tape, (the really slim kind, not the bulky stuff), to mount these pads.
I carry around 2 sets of keys, and the set that doesn't have the xB's key on it ends up in a cupholder. For the 2 weeks I had the Toaster before getting these pads, the rattles were driving me crazy! Hence the search for some add-on foam padding goodness. They're a perfect fit, come with instructions (seriously) and are worth every dime spent. Have a look:
I've got an HHR too, (I know, I know...), and it comes with some rubber inserts from the factory. I was kind of surprised that a Toyota didn't, and I think Wilson's product is a must for every Toaster 2.0 owner.

Thanks all for the thread. One of the criticims I saw of the 2008 xB before I bought mine was some of the fit and finish type of things, and in particular, the visible screws in the door handles was noted more than once. So naturally I noticed them too while test driving, but I figured it was just a minor thing. Then I came across those pads and figured I could get rid of that little problem for a few dollars.
I first ordered up the basic set he had on eBay, and I got them in two days and was quite impressed. Nice little labels on each pad, plus some square double sided tape to hold cup holder pads down. Then I ended up also getting the instrument cluster pad after my shades went sliding across the whole dash of the car. And I also got the two pads for under the rear seat - I really need the last two because it seemed like no matter what I was putting in there, things kept sliding out.
I haven't gotten any for the rear hatch area - yet. But when I start loading those areas up, if there any rattles, I'll probably get those, too.
The only pads I would want that aren't there is one for the back of the shelf above the glove box, but that would obviously have to be put in place with the little sticky squares or something similar. For now, I have the glove box pad there, and unless you look at it straight on, it looks fine. And a pad for that little shelf right behind the steering wheel would also be nice, buy that one would also have to be stuck down.
Compared to the prices for some other accessories, these are a real bargain and very useful.

Wow! These things look really nice. I'm really thinking of getting me a set, but I plan on getting an in-dash navigation system installed. If I get a set of these pads, will they get in the way of installation? I dont think they would, but just makin sure!

Scion xB pads
Hi everyone-
I am a newbie here - just got a 2008 xB. I bought the whole set of Wilson's pads, and I am pretty impressed. Quality and fit are top notch. I haven't had them long enough to make any detailed statements, but I think they are top notch.

ebay xB pads
Got the set of pads 4 days after ordering on Ebay, and they're great. Just the right size, and THINGS STAY PUT. Sunglasses no longer disappear into the twilight zone, and no more wet cup holders. This guy knows how to package, every little pad was labeled, and the set came with little double sided stickers for areas where the pads might move, like the cupholders! Great idea...wish I'd thought of it!!
