Dust cover for rear brake sliding pins? How to remove?
Hey guys,
I was trying to lube my brake sliding pins on my rear brakes and noticed the sliding pin has a rubber dust boot cover, attached to the caliper and bolt end of they sliding pin. How do I go about removing this without damaging it? Does it just pull off? It seems like it was attached to both ends, and it was pulling so I was afraid of having it rip and avoid damage. It seems like it will damage no matter how it is removed.
I have brake diagrams for the car and it labels them as non-reusable. So does the dealer have these parts available? Seems weird we cant service them.
Thanks guys,
