Default FREE Backgrounds for your Pioneer Premium Audio System

I made a few background graphics for the Pioneer Premium radio and thought I'd post the lka files for download. Just go to the link below and click on the link below each graphic to download the lka files. If anyone has any cool ideas for other backrounds, let me know and I'll try to post them too.

They are the lka files. All you have to do is burn it to CD and it's ready to go.

I just posted a Tech version. May or may not look that great. Kind of too much detail for such a small area. I found that if I place the graphic in the lower left corner, text from the radio or iPod doesn't overlap it.

Hey nfocus, nice work so far. How about a bB logo, and maybe a toaster on wheels?

Thanks. Do you know where I can find a good image of the bB emblem or the toaster on wheels?

The bB is up. Toaster on wheels is going to take a little work. The stereo display does not have the greatest resolution, so you can't put detailed graphics on it. I'm going to draw a side view of a toaster. Do you want it with or without toast popping up from the top?

Toast at the top helps define the image as a toaster.

Thanks a lot for taking the time to flesh out my suggestions!

Very nicely done! Does anyone know where else we can find these images? Or how we can make our own?

The premium head unit manual has instructions for downloading the software to create and load images, movies and background videos. I've created clips from Star Wars, Bladerunner and Doctor Who that look really sweet.

You can download a few things here http://pioneer.jp/car/oel_screensave...l/index_p.html

If you want to make your own, the size is roughly 257 X 70. Save as jpg, bmp or png and then use the free software to convert it to the lka files for use on the head unit.

So basically we can only burn one image/clip/movie onto one disc and then download it to our head unit.

I tried downloading the ones you gave me all onto one disc and it only gave me the first one on the list.

Also, how can we delete them if we want to replace them with another one?

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe you can only add one movie, one background movie and two background pictures at a time. When you put in a new disc, it will automatically replace the previous ones if needed to make room for the new one.

Thats weird, it would only let me add one. Thats cool though. I am going to mess around with the program more and see what I can come up with.
