i need to know if there are any posts about a swaping of an xb motor with a tc motor

this is a fail...they're the same engine, so it isn't even a swap, it is a replacement or donor really, or a transplant.

im doing it bc i blew rod thmotor and my buddy has a tc motor laying around with 15000 miles on it and i was wondering if i am going to be using different motor mounts and then if there was anything else i needed to know

your profile says you have a 2004 xb dude, yet you posted in the second gen xb forum.

no, you can't simply put a tc engine in a first gen xb. irst off, fitment, it probably wont' fit. won't mate with the transmission, and then you would probably need custom drive axels and lots of custom fabrication.

if you had a second gen xb, it would be much simpler, still some hard work, but not nearly as hard.

but on another note, engines for the first gen xb are a dime a dozen. you can find them for so cheap at junk yards, ebay, craigslist etc.
