Default Issue with E-brake handle

Has anyone had to take their ride back to the dealer for a loose e-brake handle or know how difficult it is to "tighten" it back up?

Since new I've had a little play with the e-brake but very rarely would it cause the brake light and beeping noise to come on. However, this morning it went off several times while driving normal to work because the handle has WAY too much play in it now (happened while taking off from a stop and if I hit certain bumps). I guess I'll be making another trip to the dealer tomorrow...

My e-brake is very loose and there's a lot of "play" in it.

Took it to the dealer and asked about it... they said it's normal for the e-brake to have a little "play."

I yank the parking brake pretty hard everytime I park. No problems with it being overly loose or anything...

no need to yank it too hard. even on hills, just throw it in 1st (highest compression gear).
