God, I want something original, and modern, and powerful, and while we're at it, 12 cylinders and a few turbos won't hurt either. I listen to the old stories, told by old men, and can only imagine the thrill of a Camaro and a Charger set to launch, or a Mustang giving a Chevelle all she's worth down the back road. I don't envy them... that was their time. I suppose I just hate the legacy I'm left with. Oil companies raping the public, 4 cylinder engines, hybrids, engines that run on french fry grease. And that's just the stuff I understand. You have an entire movement of people ready to laugh at me, because I laughed at them for spending $20k modding a used Honda. "Yo Homie... this is V-Tech." Word uh... worky? This is an American steel bumper, with pushbar. You may be faster. You may pass me. But at the red light and in emergency situations, it's not how much you invested in your engine, but how well I maintain my brakes. I don't understand drivers anymore. People I know who only ever drive to work...? have TomTom. And they talk to it! Oh, if I die... send me back as a TomTom, because I got some stuff to say to these people. And what's with this retro crap? I hate retro. Let the grandads have their memories with the muscle cars. Do away with the Mustang, and the Vette. Say goodbye to the Charger. Give me something futuristic. Name it the KittenSmasher. Forget nice lines... I want 90 degree angles so I don't appear on radar. When I set cruise control, I want a little holographic 'me' to appear and I can go to sleep while it drives. Let's go with 24 really small cylinders, so all these guys who are proud of how many valves they have can go pound sand. Turbos for the turbos. If it has any kind of wing on it, it better have an aileron and rudder and be FAA approved. Oh, and it needs to talk to me, like KITT, except with Jenna Jameson's voice. And bench seats. With cupholders... and pinstr...



Ok, maybe I'm wrong and the auto industry isn't stagnating. I mean look... Korea is in the process of designing a boxy car!

based on preliminary information on the Soul, it is much closer in size and details as the 1st gen xB -- not the xB2

 

It looks like they bought an xB2 and gave it a nose job in the wrong direction.

Realizing their mistake, they tried to do an eye job, but instead of rounded eyes, they got slanted eyes.

In a panic, they chose to go for a cheek lift, but the lift went nearly all the way up to the eyes.

Finally, with all hope fading, they thought they'd just get a butt reduction, and it nearly worked out, except now it's a flat butt.
