It's pretty straightforward. Carefully snap off the plastic panel behind the lift gate and you'll have access to your license plate bulbs. The entire panel is a snap-on.

Planning to get white LEDs for your license plate?

 

Had that panel off 20+ times or more . Never broke a clip , you kinda have to pull hard . The more you remove it the easier it comes off . As for LED's I've had the cheap e-bay , upgraded to Ledmod.com found on this site . Think I found the best brightest ever . V LEDs .com . Retina burner level 6 . They are based in bellingham wa. The shop is full of high tech products will skilled staff .

 

just take off the back plastic. its really easy i had replaced mine with LED's
