Default More bumper problems

This is one just plan sucks. I was driving home one night during a horrible downpour. It started to let up but as I was coming through one section there was a huge run off of water and I of course was doing highway speeds and the water rushed up under my bumper and must of popped off what was holding it somehow. Flipped the entire front part of my bumper up into my line of vision. Scared the crap out of me since I couldn't see and doing 50 lol. I think I just need to buy a new bumper and start over lol.

I'll be in the market for a new bumper, too. I had someone hit my driver's side fender (didn't leave a note) and bent the fender and part of the bumper, and then on the passenger side, the flimsy clips that hold the bumper to the fender have torn away.
Damn guys -- the crap we experience is reflective of what's occurring around us ! My most recent xB2 damage is thanks to some garbage head in front of my very own home ! As long as we understand the average human being is ****, it's easier to accept the garbage they perpetuate upon us. Two weeks ago my xB2 was not far from perfect, it's now severely compromised -- yay humanity!

You might want to check the plastic push pins that hold the bumper on. I had one fall off on the right side and noticed the bumper was loose, Scion replaced the push pin and it fell out again!!! I went to AutoZone and bought a 10 pack of replacement pins and they are holding.

Lego cars, don't you love them!!!

Perhaps I should look again, but when I installed my Scion fog lights, which required removing the front bumper fascia, I had to remove several heavy screws from underneath. Guess I'm finding it difficult to understand how water could pop up the fascia if those screws were correctly in place. Any chance somebody overlooked something?
