Default Need help from a newbie.

Hello everybody! My name is Sam.
I got my 08 XB a week ago and I want to buy a set of rims for it but I want to keep the factory tires so here is the question.

Will American Racing Casino Chrome fit?

Finish... P/N ...... .. Size... Bolt Circle... Offset... Backside Setting

Chrome 683-6766 .16x7... 5-4 1/2... 42 .....5 5/8
Chrome 683-6780.. 16x7... 5-100 ... 42 .....5 5/8
Chrome 683-6791.. 16x7... 5-115... 42 .....5 5/8

Man! I am so confused!!

Please help a new guy out.

Thanks in advance.

Sam

your xB is 5 X 114 bolt pattern you need to start with that.

One more question here.

I use Camry as a search vehicle and found lots of wheels are 5x 114 and 16x7 but my XB is 5x 114 and 16x6.5, so can I use 16x7 wheel on 16x6.5 tire?

Thanks.

You can, but you're going to be setting yourself up for curb rash.

Thanks bear454.

I will be very very careful not to do that.

Since the stock tires are 205/55/16, they will fit on rims sized 16x5.5 through 16x7.
Ideally, I suppose you would want something in the middle. I'd try to find a rim that is 16x6.5 like the stock rims are.

That is correct. I don't want new or different wheels.

Thanks for all the inputs.

I think you should keep the stock tires on the stock rims and get new better tires on your new rims. Remember, there is a air pressure sensor on those rims. you will need to have those put into your new rims and have them programmed for the car so the pressure sensor will work correctly.

Thank you moriarty. I will ask our local dealer about that air pressure sensor.

Thanks again.
