Default The New iPod, Classic, Touch, and Nano!

So I know it is a little early, but Apple has just released the new iPod, Nano, Classic, and awesome (Touch). So who wants to bet, that the iPod Touch won't work with the new 08 models and their iPod capabilities...let's all pray to God that I am wrong. I want one badly! So if anyone here gets one and finds out, let me know asap! Thanks.

Check em out here!

So the tech specs for the Touch say "docking connector and mini jack ports" just like the other iPods. I would be surprised if it did not work with the car.

It should be exactly like an iPhone and I believe those work with the car.

Any iPhone owners care to comment?

Default iPhone in my tC

My iPhone works great with in my car. I just plug it in and go. The only weird thing is that when the phone rings it rings thru the speakers.

The Touch looks hot. That in itself could be an iphone killer, since all i wanted out of the iphone was the WiFi capabilities. But being forced into that 2 year contract w/ a data plan blew. So i bought an AT&T 8525 for $150 w/ no data plan AND it has wifi, and mp3 capabilities.

Nice! I was wondering if that would work. What system do you have?

I'm planning on running the Touch custom mounted flush on my dash in front of the passenger seat for passenger viewing. And run the Classic 160GB for music.

The new NANO works fine in our xB... plus it's just so niftily small! It's flippin' sweet...

Noodles, thumbs up on the flush mounted touch idea. I had been thinking about the possibilities of that myself. Plus, if people manage to hack it (as I'm sure they will), the perhaps people will even come up with some great apps that might enhance it as a mini carputer for people on a budget.
