Default New Poster, Curious about age group.

I was hoping I cold get a consenus of the age group of Scion XB owners. the reason I ask is that I am interested in the 2008 Xb but I have been told they are geared towards a younger crowd. I was curious to know the age range is for current owners.

Thanks in advance

I am turning 30 this November. My wife is 28 and we have a 7 year old. I just traded my 06 XB for an 08. A very close friend of mine has one. She just turned 42. She traded in her 05 XB and went and bought an 08 Xb. She loves it.

18...

I might be one of the few people who really meets the intended Scion demographic

But, even though Scion cars are geared toward a younger audience, that doesn't mean people of all ages can't enjoy it. The majority of Scion owners in my area are older and probably chose the brand for practical reasons more so than anything else.

32 and single but probably will be engaged soon...

I was wondering about the age demographic as well... but when it comes to cars... theres just enthusiasts, or non-enthusiasts.. I think most of us that own Scions are Enthusiasts and Techies... And for the money, Scions are the best fit for us!

I appreciate the responses. I wasn't sure if I was too old for a XB but you guys make me feel better in my decision. I think I will purchase one in a week or two.

i'm 21 and i like scion for life. I just hope they don't end up like toyota and make the cars bigger every year. I miss the old toyo trucks when they were small....

I'm 45, married, three kids, youngest one is 18, and a six month old grandson.
I don't fit the demographic, and it kind of bothered me as well, I didn't want to look like I was trying to be hip or whatever. But, the car fit my needs, my wife and I both like the looks of it and the price was nice, too.
Now, I don't care about being perceived as too old for Scion, they're good cars at a good price, something everyone should appreciate regardless of age.
