Default New RS6.0 Questions

This is my first post and I just bought a new RS6 xB. But for some reason there is no spoiler. I saw on another thread that there is only 6 or 7 of them in the US. Is it really worth me trying to get one? And do I have a chance of it being free, since it SHOULD have come with one?

My second question is how hard is it to rewire the iPod/ Aux cables? For some reason mine are in the glove compartment, and it's capped off where they are meant to go.

I don't think that it necessarily "should have come with one." I believe it is just an option to be able to get the color matched spoiler.

Well what happened is I went to the dealer ship, and it had one. A week later, we came back, and they moved it to another dealership. We bought it, and they said they would bring it back. We bought it thinking it had one. Then when it came in, it was a different one. It wasn't the one we saw, and thought we were buying. I guess your right though

Ya, the one you originally saw might have had it, but it would have been an option you were charged for.

I would go back to the dealer and let them Know!!! If you saw the one you wanted and told them hey i want that one than it should be the same with the spoiler.

The spoiler is definitely a dealer option and is not included in the 6.0 package. The first RS6 you saw, would have reflected the higher price having the spoiler already installed. My RS6 also did not come with one pre-installed, but I had the dealer install it.

How much did they charge to install it?

My salesperson messed up and wrote up the purchase agreement with the cost of the options only and forgot to add the labor, so I got all my accessories installed free. I wish I would have know that when I was picking them! LOL

ohh nice. Was the spoiler itself more than the normal spoiler? Cause I know it's different.

first off i have to see this spoiler. second, i'd check my paperwork and make sure that i didn't pay for the the one WITH the spoiler and ended up with the one w/o.

The cost of the spoiler was the same as a normal spoiler. The only difference in the spoilers is the color itself. My daughter's Bright White Spoiler is no different than mine.

oh alright. Thanks for the help. I'll probably not get it though. And also, are your Ipod/ AUX jacks in the glove compartment? I saw somewhere you cant put them in the normal spot with the navi but I thought I would just check.

Yea. My iPod & USB jacks are both in the glove box. Doesn't matter to me though, I don't use them. Maybe one day.

Yes, my iPod connection is in my glovebox, but my Aux Jack is on the front of my unit (lower left). I like the iPod in the glovebox so it is hidden. My daughters is in the center console, but the iPod and the wires are always showing.

I think the spoiler is a must have! It really makes the car IMO. It makes the XB look so much more sporty!
