Thanks again.. love the color even though it was dirty as crap when it came off the truck LOL. im already lovin the room it feels like a full size suv compared to my 240!!
240 mods are lowered on 205/55/16 SR red top, front mount intercooler, rebuilt open diff which sucks to drift on(still waiting on my welded diff) its putting down between 220-250 to the wheels, and much more to come for both vehicles main focus now is the XB

Need some positive reenforcement
I too am new to Scion. I purchased the last 2009 xB in the entire SE and I bought it over the internet. I flew to Birmingham AL to pick it up and return to Naples FL.\ that evening. The trip was 800 miles with a couple of naps in rest areas and a stop at MacDill AFB to do a little BX shopping. I've been driving an 02 Hyundai Elantra GT since it was new and I have 131K on it. I love the Elantra GT but don't like the basic Elantra and the new Touring didn't do it for me either. The trip went ok but I felt like I was fighting the steering the whole trip--I think driving a team of horses on a buckboard is less work. The car just didn't seem to track straight--I guess I'll have the dealer here check the alignment. It has the optional 16" enbrei BRAC wheels. I also think my Hyundai leather seats are more comfortable and I missed the leather wrapped steering wheel like the Hyundai has as well. I love the looks but I'm having second thoughts...my milage wasn't too good either. I followed the break-in driving instructions to the letter. My miles driven divided by gallons uses showed mileage of 26.8 to 28.3 depending on the tank. My GT gets that mileage running around town and 30.5 on a like highway trip. I can even get 29 mpg pulling my Harley on the trailer. Please, I need some positive reenforcement that this is going to be a great car and I'm not going to be sorry.

There are lots of options for the xB to get it in line with what you are used to and love.
Check out the Clazzio seat covers from TRDsparks:
http://www.trdsparks.com/displaypart...&parts_id=2809
and the Scion leather steering wheel from Don Jacobson Scion (Scion Parts Mall):
http://parts.donjacobsscion.com/prod...oducts_id=1224
They each have the cheapest prices for those respective parts.
BTW, did it come with any Scion or after-market parts already installed?
Wheels/tires & lowering springs will be some of the best upgrades you can do. Check out this thread if you want good looks and a great comfortable ride:

Keep asking questions, and we'll help you spend your money to get the best xB2 that you can possibly have.
Welcome to the family; you're going to love it!

Down the path of the dark side you have begun, leaving not you will!
Congrats on the new toy. It's really not a matter of what to put in; it's more of what to put in first! For my '10 xB2, it was a new sound system (being the lead sound tech and mixer monkey at my church). Next, leds everywhere! They'll go nicely with the recently installed french fries and spilled peppermint mocha in the passenger seat!

I love the looks but I'm having second thoughts...my milage wasn't too good either. I followed the break-in driving instructions to the letter. But here's the deal for you: you're comparing a base car to one of a higher trim. That's like comparing a Ford Focus SE to a Ford Focus SEL. The Elantra GT you used to drive is going to be upgraded for sure, and there's only so much that was squeezed into the base xB in order to get it's price attractive at under $17k. Bang-for-buck, the xB is one of the best cars out there on the market if you want a fun car to drive around rather than a lackluster Camry or Corolla. Sure those are good cars, but I had more fun driving around the xB. I felt like I jumped into a miniature tank. Plus, I get so many people looking at my car all the time here in Florida. It's just pure fun.
Also, the toaster you're driving is definitely not aerodynamic, so you're not going to get superior gas mileage compared to your Elantra GT. It's a fact. If you drive it right, you can get 34 mpg on highway 28/29 city like I do. Adding a spoiler to the back of your box can help reduce drag, as well as add an aggressive look. Lowering springs will certainly help you out, too, not only for appearance, but for reduction of choppy rides. Plus, on highways, you're not going to have as much air traveling under it, so that'll reduce lift just a little bit, but nothing crazy noticeable.
All-in-all, I think you're going to love your xB. In order to compare it to that Elantra GT you were driving, you're going to have to add COMFORT mods for sure. Scion uses a lot of plastic to not only produce a car for cheaper, but to make it lighter, too, which is why the xB has some pretty good pickup for just a measly 158-hp engine.
Good luck with your box! I love mine to death.
