rain x latitudes? Why wouldn't they fit your car they're pretty much universal? I have a set on my tC.

Uhm you can buy whatever wiper blades you want. You just need the right size. Don't know who told you that you couldn't get rain-x.

Lift and pull the end of the wiper rubber protruding from the blade stopper

(Do not forcibly pull out the wiper rubber. The backing plates will be deformed or the blade claws will be damaged.)

Hope that helps

I just got 2 new Rain-X Latitudes :D However, the guy at Auto Zone said that I would have to take it back to the dealer for the rear wiper b/c it comes as the whole arm and not just a "re-fill." Is this true? If so, where can I get this "re-fill." If its not true, what size of blade would I need?

I plan to take advantage of the Bosch Icon wiper rebate when it becomes available. It's not up on Bosch's site yet, but here's a link to the upcoming promotion.

I had the Bosch Icon blades for a day before I returned them... On the passenger side, the blade did not make contact all the way to the edge at the bottom of the windshield. And yes, they were the right size. I returned them, got my refund, and bought wiper refills from the dealer for like $17 and blades were good as new. Not to mention, the Icon's stick up from the windshield more and bothered me.

No way is stock the best, especially if you live in an area that gets snow/freezing rain. I've had latitudes on my car for over a year now including a pretty rough winter and they're still like brand new.

hmm... I was wondering about this issue. I had very similar wipers (Silblades) on my previous vehicle and I had the same problem. I guess I'll look into something else - maybe the rain-x ones. Thanks for the heads up.

Rain-X latitudes and the Bosch Icons are awesome. I have them on my Accord and bought them for my Mom's Jeep, and they're way better than the multi-point pressure system that OEM blades use. I will be getting curved wiper blades for all of my cars in the future, never going back to the multiple pressure point blades.

I threw Latitudes on my car when I bought it and they are awesome til this day! 2 years and working great lol.

BTW Thanks 4 the rear wiper instructions! Never bothered to look it up on here. I wont change it out yet as the factory one is still holding up fine.

So I picked up some Rain-X latitudes from Wally World at lunch today. I went with their recommendation of 24" driver 19" pass. I think the stock wipers are 22/20. They took about a minute to put on in the parking lot and the outermost edge of the pass side doesn't contact the windshield until the wiper starts moving a bit upwards. This is the same thing that happend with my previous car. That being said they work extremely well. As posted earlier, they aren't as pretty as the OEM blades. Hopefully they work better. I'm keeping the stock blades in case I want to go back to OEM in the future. At least I'm all set for the fierce San Diego winter.
