@DJ_FroZone: for the rear wiper, you have to replace the insert. pop up the cap that holds the arm to the hatch, pull the wiper arm up, and pull the insert out. there will be 2 metal beams that come out with the insert. you buy a new insert from your local friendly dealership for 7 dollars, and you put the metal beams on the new insert, and you slide it back into place on the arm. put the cap back on and viola!

@everyone else: my experience is that the oem inserts work the best. they're only 10 bucks total i believe (don't know your cost, only employee...sorry). you can treat your glass with some rain-x or that other crap that prevents it from fogging up or even freezing... but as for wiper blades, the oem inserts are the best.

I have been using the stock wipers for the past two years now. I just replace the inserts twice a year. Take a few minutes to change them and the wiper is good as new once you do.

Plus, I like the way the OEM's look. More sleek.

I like the stock look also . the back blade you can just get a replacement blade for the front and cut it down.

Lightbulb Rear wiper blade on 2008+ Xb's CAN be replaced

There is an alternative to going to the dealer for a replacement rear blade on the 2008+ Scion Xb's. It may first appear that the blade and arm are one piece but if you take a look, you'll see the wiper blade can be replaced and its actually quite simple. There may be other alternatives, but the 'Trico Exact Fit Rear Blade' at wipers123 online snaps right onto the special rear arm and looks like the factory original. Much cheaper than the dealer alternative. Comes with removal and replacement instructions too. Hope this helps.

Yeah my rear wiper is now torn at the edges and Im dying to replace it. I didnt like the contact of the rear wiper as it would often not contact the top of the window during the cold.

Once you get the replacement blade it will take you about 2 minutes.

Here is a link to a You Tube video showing how to replace the rear wiper blade. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QzaDESEHlms Great video!
I installed Bosch Icon wiper blades in the front.

I so rarely use my rear it's still like new. The Scion rear spoiler does a great job of keeping my rear window clear !

If by "round edge look" you're referring to one of the other designs, you may want to find out how effective it is at clearing the window before finalizing your choice.

I couldn't be happier with my trico aftermarket setup: neoforms on front, exact fit rear and I also use the aquapel glass treatment. Its a sweet setup:
