Overhead Console Box
#7
I got the overhead console as well. It doesn't effect view or headroom inside the vechile, and it's very handy. I'ts pretty ugly when its open, but subdued when closed. Great extra storage.
The little plastic thing with the scion logo is a spot for a picture. Basically to let your GF mark her territory.

The rear double compartment for sunglasses on the overhead unit just looks stupid. I like the front drop down storage space, but it would have been better if they stuck a drop down LCD screen and DVD player in the rear section of the overhead unit.
I'm sure some people will get a lot of use out of the overhead unit as it is, but I wouldn't pay good money for that overhead unit ... unless it had the above-mentioned drop down DVD player.

You don't really need the drop down DVD when you can get the in-dash Navi/DVD and dual rear headrest monitors from factory.

I can't imagine it being too bad. Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe it just bolts up where the lights are. No drilling.
