PLEASE HALP!!! I MEAN HELP!
Hello everyone, my box it's all crazy giving me all sort of codes.
these are the codes ;
Current Fault Log
------------------
P0010: "A" Camshaft Position Actuator Circuit (Bank 1)
P0121: Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Range/Performance Problem
P0328: Knock Sensor 1 Circuit High Input (Bank 1 or Single Sensor)
P2111: Throttle Actuator Control System - Stuck Open
P2119: 1) Throttle Actuator Control Throttle Body Range/Performance
Pending Fault Log
------------------
P0010: "A" Camshaft Position Actuator Circuit (Bank 1)
P0328: Knock Sensor 1 Circuit High Input (Bank 1 or Single Sensor)
P2196: O2 Sensor Signal Stuck Rich bank1 Sensor1
I just got the DESCENDANT kit installed on my xB2 everything with my AEM EMS2 seems right, she is making 253 WHP 256 TQ at 8psi. I believe that the problem is with my OEM ECU, when I cold start her everything looks fine until it reaches 87-90C the idle goes to around 600 - 500rpm and then she stalls. Then if I drive her a little longer my RPM goes to 3000 stays there and I can't use the gas pedal at all, it does not do anything.
My check engine light is not to bright looks really dim and I also have my traction controll off and blinking.
any help would be really apreciated. And sorry for my bad skills at writing engrish : /

I would call Descendent and see if they could help or if they have heard of this before. They are great guys down there and will help anyone. Sorry, I have never heard of this. Their kits are pretty well built so I don't know what it could be.
#3
Yeah, I dont see anything wron with the kit o ems2, the factory ecu is the one giving me problems. I already chek for vac leaks, maf sensor, nothing else other than that.
#4
The factory ecu is only giving you problems because of the EMS 2 and/or wiring. The root cause may not be immediately apparent but keep looking at those things. If Descendent can't help, have you tried AEM tech support?
Unfortunately I don't think you'll find many people here with in-depth knowledge of the EMS 2. Good luck.

So... I have been researching at what this P0010 code has to do about. This is the description of the code;
P0010 - Generic
Type Powertrain - Fuel and Air Metering - ISO/SAE Controlled
Description
"A" Camshaft Position Actuator Circuit/Open
Location Bank 1
I also have the part number and where it's place on the xB
11101J it is called VALVE ASSY, CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL or OCV
here are a couple diagrams and there is also a PDF file with wiring diagram.

Yeah I got one already, my TUNE is not bad I will post the Dyno sheets whats weird is that she is just boosting 7 to 8 with a 10 lbs spring, did a pressurization test and all good on that part the issue I'm having what I believe is some ECU ground problems or some like It. I'm doing collage finals now. but I will get that fix by this month then I will have to take some pics, make a video and some tire burning ; ). Thanks for your followup and help.
I'm also so in love with the ride. Got a couple 30k+ rides beat up. feels so awesome : D

2-3 psi loss is perhaps a bit on the high side but if you're plumbing wastegate pressure from the compressor housing, it's normal for the intake manifold pressure to be lower due to pressure loss in the pipes, IC, etc.
Good luck with finals and the tune issues. I'm looking forward to pics and vid. Enjoy it!

Biggest PITAs encountered during installation:
1) Removing the oil pan. It simply did not want to cooperate.
I spent around 4h triying to remove it. I was about to order this
But then I used the nail removing part of my hammer kept trying and cursing till I heard something then I went down.

I will own that tool before I ever attempt to remove another oil pan! Getting my pan off was a nightmare! That Toyota EPDM gasket maker is one strong adhesive. I spent about 4 hours with a utility knife, putty knives, screwdrivers, hammers, rubber mallets and a small wonder bar before it finally tore free. What a PITA...
BTW, it's called the "claw", hence the term claw hammer.
