Default Question regarding Cargo HEIGHT capacity of new XB

So, i have a very specific need when it comes to buying a car.... My wife has a wheelchair that's 32 inches high to the top of the push handles. I know this fits upright in the Current XB. Question is, does anyone know how tall a load can be put in the new Xb? Looking at the photo's of the new Xb it appears the cargo area is higher up on the new model, on the old model it appears to start about 2/3 rds of the way up the rear wheel. The New model appears to start about level with the top of the wheel. So i'm guessing it's about 6 inches or so less from floor to roof in the cargo area. Could this explain the not as great as we'd imagined increase in cargo capacity? If my guesstimates are correct (estimated from photos only) then I'm thinking the height may not be enough to store the chair upright, which means NO XB for us.

SO.. anyone going to a backstage event this week want to take a tape measure and confirm the cargo area dimensions Pretty Please

The new box is 1.2 inches lower than the the old box. They talk about more shoulder room, but not a word about head room. The extra capacity is all in the length and width.......

The Backstage event here isn't until june 5th!. They'll be in the dealers before then. I'm hoping the new XB is tall enough. if it's not, i'm probably going to try and get an old one, I just hope the dealers stil have some when the new models come in.
Either that or a mazda 5 looms in my future.. ugh

Actually if you get 1st gen xB from the dealer after the new ones come out, you might have a great shot at getting a xB with all kinds of nice upgrades at a low price.
