The adjuster will be looking at the car today. If he confirms that it is totaled we would most likely look at getting another xB.
Longboardluv....that's the remote bass adjustment **** for the subwoofer

Sad!
Wow, it looks like you could just cut the front end off; the rest looks great still. Gotta love those crumple zones for keeping your wife safe! I hope she makes a quick recovery both physically and emotionally (its always hard to get back in the seat after an accident. I had a little one and was scared to drive in the rain for months afterwards. My heart would thump through my chest thinking that any moment I'd get hit...) Thanks for sharing this with us - its nice to see the protection in these lovely little shoeboxes.
It makes me sad to see it hurt though, I never see other HTMs on the road. Plenty of cherrys, blacks and whites, but never my beautiful, beloved teal. Good luck with the insurance process; hope it goes quickly for you!
No no no no, peeps. IIIIII drive a HTM, IIIII get the spoiler! It's already color matched! *humor*

It is totaled, no doubt at all. My 06 was crunched from the rear and didn't look half that bad, and it was totaled.
Glad your wife is OK!
How did you like that sunroof? Did you have it long enough to form an opinion on it? If you get another xB, would you get another sunroof?

My wife doesnt remember a whole lot, so I'll have to get the police report to find out details.
The sunroof was great. We've had the box since November so we've had plenty of time to develop an opinion on it. It looked great in the vent position and cooled down the car very quick on summer days.

Its very comforting to see how well your xB handled that accident. Considering I have 2 08's this makes me more comfortable. I'm glad your wife came out ok, minus the standard bumps and bruises.
Now can I have your wheels and headunit

As an added comment, your car would make an interesting subject for the maker of the sunroof. Clearly there were no ill effects to the structural integrity as a result of the installation. Even if it is more about the Toyota design and the car being planned to have a sunroof, it still should make them happy.
