Default Is it safe to buy rims from internet company?

I finally decided on what rims I want but they are only available on internet so my question is:

Is it safe to buy rims for internet like Wheelstudio.com or Customwheel.com?

Thanks in advance.

It's not necessarily unsafe. Just needs to be a reputable store. No idea about the two you mentioned though. Tirerack.com is my only experience buying wheels/tires from an online store.

wheels from the internet is the only way to go! almost unlimited selection, and good prices too! just do a lil searchin and find out if the company is credible first....

the buyer/seller experience section should do the trick!

i did wheelnext, and they were pretty nice but didn't have the one i wanted and forgot to tell me till 3 weeks after i paid.

but they asked me if i wanted any other rims on the site and i asked for 18 inch enkei evo 5

which was 200 + than the ones i originally paid for so i was happy haha

If you have a Discount Tire in your area they'll order anything. It's alot easier to return to a real person rather that eating restock fees and shipping. Their prices are very reasonable as well.

I got mine online, can post the retailer when I find it. I did have to get them rebalanced though before mounting them, extra $20. Can't say about returns but I would say in general internet companies are more difficult to handle returns with.

on line shops are not bad but you may not get perfect round rims..i bought some rims from a online store the rims were good and all but had a constan shake and nothing to get them fixed just had to live with it

i would say the best place for wheels and tires is discount tire local or internet
