Saying Goodbye To Shelly

Saying Goodbye To Shelly
Well after almost 6 wonderful years of ownership. Shelly was involved in a accident and found a total loss. From commuting to school and work full time. Being a part of Alpha Squad and enjoying occasional cruises. She was truly a car that had character. Anyone who has owned a 2gen xb or scion knows that they are just a fun car period. I would go into greater detail of all the experiences I have shared with her. However this thread is already getting to touchy and sentimental as it is. I wanted to come on scion life and say goodbye to Shelly and the forum. Honor her with one last post and add some of my favorite pictures. A big thank you goes out to everyone I have met or interacted with in the scion community. It has been a real honor to have been a part of it. Even tho Shelly is gone, the memories will always live on. If I have offended you with my mushy story, kick rocks. Im venting...
I would like to dedicate (Killswitch Engage-A Tribute to the Fallen) to Shelly.

Thank you guys, I am driving my silverado for now. 15mpg is fun, I would purchase another scion xb but I cant stand the 5speed. The rpm's were way to high for doing 70mph+. I dont care to have car payments again. So I will most likely buy a civic. Build a sleeper, with a k20a,6speed,few bolt ons and a tune. Keep it all stock on the exterior except for a minor drop. As for parting ways with aftermarket parts. I am selling a tanabe strut bar, AEM cold air intake, Those falken wheels in the pic, w/tire pressure monitors and almost new falken tires 225/40/18. I will make a thread in the classifieds. However you can pm me for pics.

In my opinion, the best money spent/best upgrade. I believe I paid somewhere in the $400 dollar range for the seat covers. They are not hard to install, the look & feel great. Not a single person knew they were seat covers. When I told them, they could not believe it. Extremely comfortable, I will be buying a set for my silverado, Look up Clazzio.
Not to mention I bought them in 08, when my car was totaled a month ago they still looked new.
