Should I buy this xB that is Salvaged?
Hello Everyone,
I was planning to get back into the Scion world and I came across a well fixed xB that has been Salvaged. I'm a little weary of buying salvaged car titles but upon seeing the original damage...it doesn't seem THAT bad.
Can any other members who have better knowledge give me some advice on if this would be a safe buy

find a mechanic close to that car and pay him to go with you. $50-$100 for him will save you a ton of money if it turns out to need much more work.
that being said, the damage does look light. but since you need to put a few thousand into it, make sure the price reflects that. otherwise, just find the same car but a used model without any accidents. there are tons of these cars around.

Whoever got it at auction got a good deal. $725 +fees for what looks like dmg that didn't go past the bumper reinforcement. Hard to tell exactly as the bumper cover is in the way. My winning bid was about that on a 2006.
