Is Siphon magazine still around? I bought the last 2 copies at Barnes & Noble but that was several months ago. Are they still around? Thanks.

Thanks, I have been looking all over and still can't find it. I think the last one I had was #4.

 

yeah we are all anxiously waiting, the new issue was supposed to be out by now, but nothing yet

ive had all but the first issue haha

 

i only have 2 issues. one with Teins white xB (with the DIYs)and the other with a small 1 page article on World Racing's turbo'd (first at the time) xB... unless those were the same issue. i cant remember but i'm pretty sure they were different.

 

comming out very soon.. sometime this month..

 

I take it you know because your in it.... It also one of my goals to make it into a mag... someday, someday.

tC's and xB2's should not be in siphon, they aren't B segment cars. I have nothing against either vehicle, but they do not belong in a magazine designated for B segment vehicles. Nothing personal.

but in one of the issues.. i did read that tCs and xb2s were going to be included..who knows tho =p if i dont make it alone ill try to make it with my buddies xb hah

Its not more dedicated to B segment cars.. the target is cars with in that price range.

I know that the mag says micro compact which is miss leading..

It wasnt my choice to be in this mag. I wouldhave rather be featured in import tuner.. but any feature will do.. espcially when your all the way in Hawaii

 

i don't see a problem with tC's and xb2s being in it ... they are competition for the other cars in the same range ...

they are in the same market ... i was looking at a honda fit ... and the xb2 ... before i decided to go with scion

if i recall .. the fit had more interior room ...

besides .. the old xb .. isnt in production anymore ... if they want to keep new content for a mag that is trying to make it .. they have to take on new rides to replace ones that are not being made ...

there are even ads in issue 5 for tC's from scion ...

 

Here is my take on it. The tC, xB, XB 2nd gen, Fit and Versa all kinda go hand in hand. They are inexpensive cars aimed at the younger market. I think and this is my opinion. That Syphon is aiming at that market. I would love to see some tC and xB 2nd gen in there.
