Sirius on the 2nd gen xB (PTS31-53060 or SIR-ALP1?)

Does anyone here know if theres a cheaper method of getting Sirius into the xB with the factory Nav system? I know the Nav is a Alpine and Sirius makes the SIR-ALP1 Tuner. Anyone tried the SIR-ALP1 in this config? Can I use this rather than the more expensive $279 PTS31-52050 FIT KIT and PTS31-53060 TUNER from Sirius?

i'm about 95% sure that the unit won't work with the stereo.. I haven't messed with an 08 xB at work yet, but typically OEM head units, even though these new ones have RCAs which are nice, generally do not have aftermarket expansion connections.. such as Alpine's AI-Net
