What did you pay for the bra and did you have any initial problems with the install?

God bless

For the sport bra, $75 for regular and $85 for carbon fiber look. I had no issues with installation. No tools required.

What's wrong with clear vinyl protection? The straps don't break and you can have MANY areas of your car covered like I did for $550 bucks.

My two cents

I hear bad things about these kind of bras. I hear that they scratch your paint if anything gets between them and when you remove them, they tend to leave tan marks on your paint.

This ever happen to anyone else?

Also, does anyone have a picture of their xB2 with the T-Style Bra? I am interested in the most coverage.

I've had them on my last half dozen cars with no issues. Even thru winter. The key is to have a nice coat of hard wax on the paint berfore installing it the first time. Then, occasionally take it off, wash the car and get all the dirt and grime off of the inside of the bra before re-installing. Never had any tan lines once the car was washed and waxed, even after years of use. I think a T-Style bra would look cool on your white car with the blacked out center bumper.

The t-style bra does cover more area, however IMO it doens't look as clean as the Sport Bra. From everytime I get nasty bugs is usually when Im on the highway and it usually doesn't get on the hood. The bugs usually get on the part just above the grill (along with massive rock chips) and right below with some on the sides. Oh well.

I ordered the T-style because I was afraid the sport bra might flap at highway speeds. I've been buying Colgan products for years. Great product and a great company.

Any car bra needs some maintenance. Would you take a shower with your clothes on? Probably not (except for a those few who try to take care of personal hygiene and laundry at the same time), so don't wash your ride with the bra on it. Take it off if it's going to rain or gets wet, take it off periodically and clean the grit and leaves off the back side. Avoid the LeBra. It's cheap with a crummy backing and is more likely to rub off the clearcoat.

What do you think of that stuff? My Local dealer is offering it, they go through a local company that has a reputation for doing Excellent work. Are the edges where the clear vinyl ends any problem with Dirt? My xB is a '08 BSP, and I wouldn't want any weird lines detracting from the look. Is it too noticable? any problem with dirt accumulating around the edges? wax?

normally i would not invest in a bra like this. but,

these are great for carshows. if you drive a long distance to a show. saves you time and money. one they keep rock chips from happening during the drive and 2 they cut down the prep time for the show.

yes clear bra's are good as well but depends on the roads near you. i would say invest in both really.

I have the same questions about the Clear Bra, especially over the long haul. It's a big jump from $75 for a Colgan Sport Bra to $550 for a Clear Bra installed. I hesitate to drop that big of a wad of cash until I've heard/seen some testimonials.
