While driving home last night, with the radio off and windows up I heard a wining sound coming from the dash when my speed was over 85, It starts about 81 and builds in volume and stays consistent through 90. I don't normally drive that fast, never had my b over 80 before, only had it for about 60 days so I have never heard it before.Does anyone have any idea what this could be? Speedometer cable? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

 

Any chance it could be the plastic wiper tray being buffeted by the wind at high speed, it's around 90 mph. sounds like it's generated by the wind velocity. Anyone?

I just get bad tire noise above 75mph.

 

I notice a ton of tire noise at all speeds, getting use to it now lol, New Falkens next week see if that helps.

 

its a rat in the dash enjoying the thrill of your 85-90mph runs.

 

I know right? Turns out the wiper tray is loose.
