Looks good, I like the idea of keeping the heat shield ! What do the two upper shield bolts screw into, didn't see anything in your earlier painted header shot!

nowhere. its been cut and welded onto the header cover. the bolt i've painted goes in the mid hole and thats the only bolt that will be holding the header cover.

Well After a few days of advice and discussion, i finally made up my mind and place an order for some new headers.

I wan to take the time to first thank everyone for contributing to some of the questions and for sharing your Ideas,Tips and Pics to me. I decided to go along with the WEAPON-R HEADERS.

Here are some of the reason,(this is not down playing Strup, just personal reason)

first; like some of you mentioned performance I felt that weapon -r delivered just a bit more, and it could be because there is more data out there to support it.

second; was the S-pipe that came along with the headers

third; would be the undisputed CEL eliminator, which like most of you stated (even Strup headers owners) that it was flawless.

I also really like the SS look even when it kinda turns goldish. So there you have it. I placed my order for all those items including a weapon r engine damper. I hope to get it soon and i will place some pics as soon as the install is complete. Im planning on installing it myself.

Once again thanks everyone!

I would think it would since it fits over the original headers including the heat shield.

Great job with this Daily XB!

its so stealthy looks just like stock headers!(but with painted heat shield) least likable to get popped by the cops!

Do you get any rattle from this due to vibrations?

Looks nice ! If I were currently going header, I would choose Weapon-R (interested in midrange performance, not high end.) But I'm in no rush, so I'll take my time on this move ! Still, as I said, looks good !
