Correct, neither Gen 1 or 2 offers a sunroof as a FACTORY option... You can, however, get aftermarket ones...

I have an 05 with the Webasto sunroof and it rocks! Almost 3 years and no leaks or issues!

Which model? I have an 06 and would like something large. I have seen others with two installed and I also was checking the Hollinda/Webasto site and they have a motorized folding canvas one I think is pretty cool. I like the 524 (only shows for the xA though), as I'd like the rear to have the panoramic view and the opening to be up front. Any hints or can anyone direct me where to look? I'm in the Detroit area.

TIA~Jeff

Here's my sunroof:

Look in your Yellow Pages for Auto Sunroofs, and ask the shops if they are Webasto dealer/installers. Or go to Webasto.com and ask the Webasto for a dealer near you. Or ask your Scion dealer who installs their sunroofs.
I would stay away from the canvas. I am not sure if Webasto even still sells them for the xB. They are not guaranteed for long, there is much to go wrong, and they let sidespray from car washes get under them.

thanks so much for the reply! Photobucket is blocked here at work, but I will check this out when I get home. I want something big. I mean, I've got all the roofspace in the world to work with :D thanks, I'll look into those outlets.

I was just at the Scion dealer on Sunday and the dealer had a 2008 scion xB with leather interior and a sunroof. I went on a test drive with a stock model and when i got back it was gone. Some guy who owned an xA bought it. Needless to say i had no idea that was anything special when i was looking at them.

Any others with pics of installed sunroofs? that is one of the things holding us back from buying an 08xb for my wife!
