Default Team Echo 08 xB

I just thought I would throw up some pics of the 2008 xB that my club, Team Echo built for our Scion region's corporate office. It is displayed at just about every region wide dealer show and then any other show that our crew is attending. We spent about 4 months building it. 2 1/2 of which were spent in the body shop for the suicides/shaved doors/shaved antenna/paint/fixing bodykit. We would like to thank our sponsors:

Ksport
Sevas Forged Wheels
Discount Tire
Katzkin
Mobile HID
Top Coverage
AutoLoc
Rotora
Planet Colors
Pioneer
Ziebart
Rays Electronics

Here's the pics:

The small specs you see in the ceiling are fiber optics for a star ceiling.

a few pics before the system was all trim panneled up and wrapped in suede

There's a few pics from where we started here:

Let us know what you think.

I've got to be honest. I don't like it at all. The first thing I thought of when I saw it was MTV's Pimp My Ride.

my 2 cents......doesnt looks too bad. I love the fact that it has suicide doors. I like the rims and the Rotora BBK.

What I did notice though is that with those wheels you really cant see the BBK.

If it's going to shows you need to at least cover the subwoofer box with carpet...

Already done, like I said, i was just showing the "PROGRESS" pics. lol wow funny how few people on SL appreciates the amount of work that goes into a person's car. mostly just bashers. oh well to each their own.

I don't think people are bashing per se. It just isn't their (or my style).

I'm not a fan of the rear bumper (or the entire rear for that matter (too empty)), wheels, or color, but I can appreciate the work put into it.

I wouldn't do the doors on my own car even if I had the money, but they like nice. And as previously stated, the Ksport brakes are nice.

I dig the color, the fab kit, the lowness, the smoothness of it being shaved, etc.

I've been thinking about shaving mine, but I'm afraid I'd warp the crap out of the door... I've used metal Fusor before, but I'm still iffy about the stuff...

Lemme know how you didn't warp the sheetmetal!!! PM ME!

We respect the work that was put into the car. We just don't like your taste. Like many of us said, it looks like that crap you see on Pimp Your Ride. It's just way overdone imo. Most people would agree.

Way over done!?? Pimp my ride?

I don't see a huge wing. Its one color. No tv's under the car. No kitchen in the back. Etc..... Its a scion owned car and its supposed to be shown at shows. So...

I guess it has to been seen in person. Which I have and it looks great.

I'll be 100% frank. I think it's ridiculous to have a large LCD in the back of a car like that. It looks silly and is a waste of money. I don't like the rear suicide doors and I think the wheels belong on a 300C and not an xB. If I saw it driving down the road with those wheels, that color and those stickers, I would probably giggle and make a joke about it being ricey. I'm not trying to be a jerk because it's obvious that a lot of work was put into it, but in my opinion it definitely looks like something that would roll out of a Pimp My Ride episode.

What's wrong with pimp my ride? Did you see some of the crap they start with

I don't think the pictures really show the whole thing amateur type photos

gotta get some clean show quality then I can praise or critique.

not bad what's there

sorry xFistsClenchedx just jocking with you

Nah, it's cool. I expected some comments because mine is somewhat harsh. That xB just isn't appealing to me. I like a lot of the clean xB's that the messageboard owners here have.
