I guess it has to been seen in person. Which I have and it looks great.
I'll be 100% frank. I think it's ridiculous to have a large LCD in the back of a car like that. It looks silly and is a waste of money. I don't like the rear suicide doors and I think the wheels belong on a 300C and not an xB. If I saw it driving down the road with those wheels, that color and those stickers, I would probably giggle and make a joke about it being ricey. I'm not trying to be a jerk because it's obvious that a lot of work was put into it, but in my opinion it definitely looks like something that would roll out of a Pimp My Ride episode.
I can see where you're coming from. If you look at it as a DD. A lot of that stuff is impractical. This car was built for Scion. To be used as a show car. Dealerships use this car to show potential buyers that scions are all about customizing. Kind of need to have stuff that catches your attention. Not trying to force you to like it. Just seems like people are viewing it a little one sided.

Maybe I just don't understand shows. Are they supposed to show off impractical, bad designs? This is a much nicer design for the cargo space in the back of the xB. Very sexy and clean.

Yeah, no doubt thats nice. Just look at the 5 axis tc. 42" in the hatch. Like I said I wasn't trying to push you into liking it. Just giving a different perspective.

tCscotty, thx for the support, you too justin. Like he's saying, it wasnt built to be a daily driver, nor is it my personal car. It was built for Scion to display at shows, events, etc. Its to show the endless possibilities. impractical? yea probably. But when you can post it up at shows and have people play video games outta the back and draw attention, that was the whole point of the build for Scion Corp. I do agree with you guys, a clean car def is nice. Are there things I would do differently on my own 04 xB? yea, mine's nothing of what this is. Completely different style. I dont get why you guys dont like the suicides though. Yea must be just personal taste in style. I think its a pretty clean setup for the doors personally, but thats just me. Thanks again to those with the positive comments

Meh...this car is okay... ;) ;)
lots of hard work was put into this car by the members of Team Echo.

Practical prob not but it is a show car for Scion Corp.

This was a great opportunity that was given by us from Scion and all of the sponsors. This is probably a once in a lifetime opp and I'm glad I was able to be part of it.

Already done, like I said, i was just showing the "PROGRESS" pics. lol wow funny how few people on SL appreciates the amount of work that goes into a person's car. mostly just bashers. oh well to each their own.
You hit the nail on the head with that one! It's true, most of them are haters. If you go further than dropping and slapping some rims on, it's not their style. They are the true modders though... not like us that put tons of time and effort into our cars. Props on making your vision come to life.

well the truth is people will hate anything that is different, you no how ____ i got for having gold wheels on my car? now i see it everywhere at every show i go to.
Point is: mod your car to your liking, as long as you like it and its not bothering anyone else, forgett'em.
Keep up the good work and post pics when its done
